We invited everyone to explore a design exhibition presented at The Social House, located in the heritage building on St. Regnegade in the heart of Copenhagen.
With the installation “Interconnection”, we explored the interaction that exists between form and function. To see and experience how art, design and materiality connect with one another to enhance the spatial experience of a space.
The curation included novelties and products from our Permanent Collection by Kasper Thorup exhibited with hand-sculptured art pieces by Pelle Staack.

KASPER THORUP
Ma. Furniture Design & Founder of Thorup Copenhagen
Celebrating the traditions of Danish design and the proud design culture in Scandinavia, Thorup’s work exudes subtle aesthetics, offering a nuanced feel of Scandinavian design. With a novel approach to materiality and artistry, each object is responsibly created to ensure a meaningful connection between the now and the after.
Employing the quality and expertise of traditional craft methods and modern techniques, Thorup balance contemporaneity and longevity in his designs, and with a strong material knowledge and discerning eye for details, his work encompasses our senses through honest materials infused with deep tactility.
PELLE STAACK
Designer
Our co-exhibitor Pelle Staack has a degree in Spacial Designer from the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, and his hand-sculptured art pieces is inspired by the relationship between architecture, design and people. He has roots in the world of theater scenography and received the award for sustainable design for his graduation project from KADK.
THE SOCIAL HOUSE
The Social House is a newly opened boutique venue, who has reinvented the concept of a working spaces by creating a buzzing meeting place for gathering people, offering an inspiring space and network for everyone, business and creative people alike.
