Can you tell us a bit about what you do, where you’re from, and where you live?
My name is Adrianna, and I’ve called Warsaw home since I was very young. For many years, I considered pursuing my dreams in Copenhagen (sending hugs to my friends there!), but I ultimately discovered a profound love for this city. As a creative consultant, I transitioned from years in public relations for lifestyle and beauty brands to seeking more creatively fulfilling work.
My fascination with visual identities and brand communication across industries and cultures has fueled my journey. For the past two years, I’ve embraced freelance life, helping brands tell their stories visually—conceptualizing and producing photo shoots, crafting compelling copy, and providing creative direction and consultation. From time to time, I also organize events or restaurant openings.
If you could give one piece of advice for creating a home that feels both curated and lived-in, what would it be?
Creating a home that truly reflects who you are is a journey—and I know this firsthand, as I’m still on that path (and secretly working on a new project, but more on that soon!). My advice is to combine elements, experiment, rearrange, and mix things up again—just keep trying. Don’t be afraid to think creatively. Sometimes, it takes time, patience, and investment, but it’s worth it.
The most important thing is that you feel at home. Your space should be where you feel more like yourself than anywhere else. And remember—it’s not a magazine photo shoot. It’s a place for you to live in, and that’s what makes it beautiful.
Your home is a beautiful reflection of your appreciation for timeless, well-crafted design. What draws you to specific pieces, and how do you curate a space that feels both intentional and personal?
I'm captivated by shapes, materials, and textures, which inspire me to explore unexpected combinations. Harmony in a space is essential for me, and I strive to balance aesthetics with functionality. I enjoy blending historical elements with contemporary design. Although I have many design treasures at home, I see them as objects meant to be lived with rather than just decorative items. They are tributes to artistry, craftsmanship, and the individuals behind the designs.
As I work on various projects and juggle many responsibilities, I find that having a calm and organized space is crucial for my productivity. A serene environment helps me maintain focus and creativity, allowing me to effectively tackle my tasks and bring my ideas to life. Since I work from home, a clean and thoughtfully arranged atmosphere not only keeps me grounded but also fosters a sense of peace amidst my busy schedules.
You have incorporated the Noel Lounge Chair and Mio Stool into your home. How do these pieces fit into your everyday rituals, and what do they bring to your living space?
These two pieces fit beautifully into my space. I love simplicity, but I also need functionality—and the Mio Stool delivers both. It’s incredibly versatile in my home. Right now, it stands next to a 1930s door with a brass handle, which feels like the perfect meeting point between modern design and history. The Noel Lounge Chair caught my attention with its unique material combination—wool and stainless steel. It feels light and airy in form, so it doesn’t overwhelm the room but instead adds character and elegance.
Great design is often about more than aesthetics—it’s about function, feeling, and longevity. How do you define ‘good design,’ and what role does it play in your daily life?
For me, good design is thoughtful, sensory, and enduring. It involves carefully crafted objects that not only look beautiful but also hold deep meaning. A well-designed piece, such as a handcrafted vase or a cozy armchair, enhances your space while seamlessly supporting your everyday life.
Each item should tell a story, provoke genuine emotion, and age gracefully over time, developing character as it evolves. In my home, design is never merely decorative; it serves a purpose and is deeply emotional. It fuels my creativity, brings warmth and comfort, and helps me stay connected to beauty in a very personal and lasting way.
As someone deeply involved in creative consultancy and content creation, do you find that your approach to home styling influences your work or vice versa?
Absolutely. As I mentioned, I’m a perfectionist—and even though I know a home is meant to be lived in, I often feel like everything needs to be just right. At the same time, my living space has a significant positive influence on my creativity. The smallest details—like natural light, fabric textures, and beautiful silhouettes—can uplift me and spark new ideas. I’ve always had an eye for detail, even the subtle ones that others might overlook. This sensitivity not only enhances my work but also encourages me to think outside the box.
Creativity is at the heart of your work and personal life. How do you approach creating a home environment that nurtures inspiration and reflects your aesthetic?
That's a tough question—mainly because I'm a perfectionist. My partner often jokes that if I rearrange something in our home, it must remain exactly as I left it; if it's even slightly moved, I’ll return it to its original position within minutes, haha!
Every detail truly matters to me, as I believe they contribute to the overall harmony of a space. I feel most at ease in high-ceilinged, bright spaces filled with natural light, which is why we've chosen to live in old tenement buildings with large windows for quite some time. The way sunlight pours in, illuminating each corner and casting delicate shadows, truly inspires me.
I strive to create a serene environment that feels calm and uncluttered—an excess of objects can easily overwhelm my senses. I'm drawn to warm tones that evoke a sense of comfort and coziness. My passion for lighting is evident in my collection of lamps that cast a gentle, enveloping glow, creating an inviting atmosphere. I surround myself with carefully selected objects that each have their own unique stories, crafted with intention and care, enriching my living space with meaning and beauty.
