Exclusive Edition Chair
Royal Copenhagen chose Kasper Thorup to design an exclusive edition Noel Chair to accompany the 20-year celebration of Blue Fluted Mega.
Just as Karen Kjældgård-Larsen created a new classic in Blue Fluted Mega, young designers in other disciplines are doing the same thing. In celebration of the anniversary of Blue Fluted Mega, the iconic dinnerware is placed in the company of three new classics from the world of furniture – three chairs, three Blue Fluted Mega items, three colourful scenes.
A scene of contemporary coolness, the dusty green scene features a Blue Fluted Mega dish on stand and a ’Noel’ chair by designer Kasper Thorup.
The dusty green Noel chair will be exhibited at the Royal Copenhagen flagship store in Japan and Copenhagen.

Noel Chair x HAV
Thorup’s Noel Chair was exhibited along with HAV at the Royal Copenhagen flagship store in Copenhagen. HAV is a porcelain series designed in collaboration with Danish design trio KiBiSi founded by Bjarke Ingels, Lars Holme Larsen and Jens Martin Skibsted, bringing together cutting-edge knowledge of fields such as architecture and design.
